Solar Construction/Project Managers

Stellar Energy GP, Inc.; a rapidly growing national integrator, is seeking energetic, hardworking and experienced Solar Construction/Project Managers

Project Managers will supervise all construction from contract to completion, including contract requirements oversight, scheduling sub-contractors, ensuring all construction complies with standards and specifications. Responsibilities include supervision of all operations and staff, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

A successful candidate will have:

•Three to five years of solar construction/design experience including understanding of contractual commitments, field coordination/installation, site supervision and how to manage customer expectations.

•Proven ability to lead day-to-day project oversight and management.

•Provide supervision of sub-contractors. •Ability to plan and monitor schedules, budgets and other resources.

Other job responsibilities will include:

•Responding to RFPs (request for proposals) and initial customer inquiries.

•Provide effective point of contact for customers.

•Take initiative to eliminate obstacles to team success.

•Identify & complete process improvement projects.

•Drive customer satisfaction through commitment to quality.

Requirements

1. Strong organizational and people skills

2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control, and production of all phases of solar-site construction

3. Commercial and/or Residential electrical/solar construction experience is required

4. A General Contractor license is a plus but not required.

Must be willing and physically capable of conducting site inspections, including (climb ladders; walk on roofs, electrical equipment rooms, etc). Subcontract management experience and travel to installation projects sites is required.
